Meet The Founder

Sonny Ullah – Will Writer, SheffieldIn 2015 my father was diagnosed with dementia. He had no Will or Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) in place. The courts appointed a local solicitor (deputy) who had never met my father previously and had no empathy or understanding of his requirements.

The deputy proceeded to sell all of my father’s assets – The assets were valued at over £2.5m, but the deputy sold them for less than £850,000. I raised my concerns to the relevant authorities, but to no avail and I have worked for the past few years to refute it.

All of the above could have been prevented had my father put at least a Will & Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) in place. Sadly, my father passed away in May 2020, two days before I sat my Society of Will Writers exam.

Many people ask me why I changed career at a later stage of life and the answer is simple – I saw how my father and his lifetime’s work was dealt with and I want to help others to ensure they do not suffer the same.
